TSA Champions League

Tudela’s Soccer Academy would like to extend an invitation to all competitive men’s teams in the tri-state area. This will be the first of many highly competitive leagues held at the newly established TSA Soccer complex. This league is set up to bring out the best of competition while encouraging fair play to the fullest extent. Only STATE LICENSED referees will be overseeing each game to ensure the games are completed fairly and without the violation of the TSA Code of Conduct or the FIFA laws of the game. We guarantee this league experience is like nothing the tri-state is accustomed to and we challenge you and your team to compete!

League Format

Each team is guaranteed 7 games, with a single elimination playoff between the top 4 seeded teams at the end of the season. Each game will be officiated by Indiana state-licensed officials and TSA staff. Teams will be required to submit rosters and player cards before each game. This league will also have a code of conduct that must be adhered to. If a player or team is in violation of the code of conduct, the violation must be taken care of in the fashion indicated by the league rules and regulations.

TSA Youth Instructional League

Our youth instructional leagues are in place to not only bring together players of all skill levels to compete in the sport of soccer, but also to instruct these players properly in the process. In most leagues, you sign up, get your jersey, and a parent is assigned or volunteered to a team. This can be a great experience for the parent and child to bond, but the knowledge to actually teach the right fundamentals might not be in place. In our instructional league, our instructors lead practices once a week and stress proper fundementals and technique. We also structure our team sizes completely differently, because we believe that a child's understanding of the game can't properly develop when a mass number of untrained children are let loose in a pack to attack the ball on the field. In a lot of instances, you will notice a swarming effect where every player is chasing the ball. We eliminate this problem by not introducing large numbers of players on the field at a young age. For example, in an 8-year-old's game you will often see eight players on each team. Our U-8 is structured to play 3 players a side, emphasizing all players getting touches on the ball and not crowding the ball. As your child gets older, the number of players on the field will slowly increase according to what we believe their soccer IQ can handle. You will immediately notice the difference of play as your child grows as a player knowing technically and tactically how the game of soccer moves.
